The Pistons ended a 3-game skid last night but barely as they held on for a 96-to-95 win at Washington. Brandon Knight netted a career-high 32 points and had five 3-pointers and Greg Monroe scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Detroit. Knight had missed the last three games with a hyperextended right knee. The Pistons led by as many as 16 points late in the third quarter before the Wizards made it a nervous ending for Detroit, which improved to 8—and-19 on the road. Tomorrow night, the Pistons play at New Orleans.
