KALAMAZOO, MI  (WKZO) -The first baby born in Kalamazoo this new year was Liliana Turnbull who arrived at 2:38AM at Bronson’s birthing unit. Parents Naomi Jackson and Jason Turnbull are doing fine.  The 6 lb 6 oz baby girl is fine too.

While the New Years baby used to be showered with gifts, these days its smarter, or at least more rewarding to have the last baby of the old year. At least you can claim the tax deduction.
