WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVB) - 7th District Congressman Tim Walberg, whose district covers all of Branch County, was sworn into the 113^th Congress for another term on Thursday. After the ceremony, Walberg issued this statement: 

“It is an honor and privilege to represent the people of the 7^thdistrict in the 113^th Congress, with the addition of Monroe County this year. For the next two years, I will work hard to promote fiscal responsibility and responsible policies that encourage job creation in Michigan and across the country. I am ready to begin working in this new Congress to make our nation stronger now, and for future generations.”
