WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVB) – He’s in the minority now but 7th District Republican Congressman Tim Walberg was sworn in Thursday for the 116th Congress marking his sixth term in Congress.
In a statement released by his office, Walberg said “over the next two years, I stand ready to focus on the issues that matter to our communities: Fighting the opioid crisis, rebuilding our infrastructure, and improving skills-based education to equip students for the 21st century workplace. Despite our divided government, I remain committed to getting results for the people of Michigan.”
While his office location in Jackson remains the same, Walberg’s office in Washington, D.C. is now located in the Rayburn House Office Building. Constituents are also welcome to visit Walberg’s website at walberg.house.gov.
