Miranda Kerr was forced to relocate in the run-up to the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City after superstorm Sandy left her apartment with no power.
Heavy winds and rain lashed America's East Coast in late October (12), causing chaos for residents, and the Australian model was unable to continue living in her property.
As a result, she moved in with a friend as she prepared for the annual runway event in November (12).
Kerr documents her experiences of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in an article for Britain's InStyle magazine, writing, ""Hurricane Sandy... means there's still no power in my apartment, so I'm staying at a fellow Aussie's place uptown.""
