COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The experts are saying enjoy lower gasoline prices while you can, because the drop in prices isn’t going to last into the spring. Right now Michigan’s average price is down 9 cents over last week, averaging $3.24 per gallon and that puts it about a nickel below the national average. It’s about what drivers in the Coldwater area are paying right now. And for a change, it’s 28 cents less than this time last year, according to AAA Michigan.
Michigan has the 25th highest average gas price in the nation. Gasbuddy.com reported today the lowest price posted was in the state was $2.71 in Greenville in Montcalm County.
