UNDATED (WTVB) - A coalition of a dozen conservative and gun rights groups are calling for January 19th to be observed across the country as "Gun Appreciation Day." They're upset over what they see as the Obama administration's post-Sandy Hook assault on the 2nd Amendment. The President has already said he plans to use his upcoming State of the Union speech to outline ways to revise gun control legislation.

The website gunappreciationday.com says the goal is to get people to go out that day and support gun stores, ranges and gun shows.
