IRS officials say they will begin accepting 2012 tax filings on January 30th, eight days later than originally planned. IRS officials moved the date back because of last-minute changes to tax law enacted by Congress as part of the fiscal cliff deal. The new legislation raises income tax rates on households bringing in over 450-thousand dollars and extends tax breaks for a number of businesses and individuals
