UNDATED, MI (WKZO) -- There have now been 285 confirmed cases of the flu statewide. Three children have died from the illness in the state and 18 nationally. Additionally aGeneseecounty teen died over the weekend after experiencing flu-like symptoms. Tests are being conducted to determine if it was the flu.

Dr. Fauci says it's important everyone gets vaccinated, and practice good hygiene. He says with three more months of flu season still to go, it has yet to peak.
