Summer lovin', happens so fast. Summer lovin', always having a blast even when that summer love gives rise to the one that got away. We all know the feeling well: a longing, an ache for someone who could've been the one, but was lost in the ether of lives already lived. And thanks to Mindy Kaling, we'll get to see that very scenario play out, with none other than Seth Rogen on The Mindy Project.
A rep for FOX confirmed the news to Hollywood.com that Rogen is slated to appear on an all-new episode of the series on Tuesday, February 9. The two delightfully hilarious humans will go back way back during ""The One That Got Away."" In fact, Sam (Rogen) is said to be Mindy's first kiss while they were both away at...Jewish summer camp? Something tells us there's an explanation to be had, and here's hoping it's a really, really funny one.
But the question remains: which one is the one that got away? Is Mindy, in a fit of sadness over her recent break-up with Josh, reminiscing about her former flames? Does Sam appear out of nowhere to declare his feelings about losing Mindy all those summers ago? Will they swap Torah horror stories and steal glances over a pile of freshly-made rugelach? Why don't we know these very important details yet? People have questions, and they need answers.
New episodes of The Mindy Project return to television tonight, Tuesday, January 8, on FOX. Are you excited about Seth Rogen's upcoming role? Let us know in the comments!
