Thirty-four Sprint Cup Series teams have begun a three-day test session of the new "G6" car at Daytona International Speedway. The season-opening Daytona 500 is February 24th. Defending Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth turned in the fastest time in Thursday morning's session with a lap at just over 192 miles-per-hour. The most recent test with the new car was last month at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Testing will continue today and tomorrow at Daytona.
