Michigan’s three point loss Sunday at Ohio State slipped the once-beaten Wolverines down 3 places in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll with the U-of-M now ranked fifth in the nation. Michigan has another tough test coming up Thursday when they play at ninth-ranked Minnesota. The new number-one team in the land is Louisville, followed by Indiana, Duke, and Kansas. It’s the same top five in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Louisville played like number-one last night with the Cardinal taking over in the second half in a 74-to-58 win at Connecticut.

Back to the rankings, Michigan State moved up a bit this week following Sunday’s home win over Nebraska. The Spartans went from 22^nd to 18^th place in the AP poll and from 18^th to 17^th place in the Coach’s Poll. The Spartan’s next game is tomorrow night at Penn State.
