Quincy, MI (WTVB) - The Village of Quincy is re-establishing its police department. That decision was made last night by the Village Council following a public hearing. 5 candidates have already been interviewed for the $45,000 job of police chief. The 3 finalists, Bill Heffner, Scott Olney and Nick Rose, will each get a second interview next Tuesday when the Council could hire the person who will head up the department that last was active in 2002.
