BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - A case of arson brought out the Bronson Fire Department last night. The alarm came in shortly after seven o’clock with the blaze in a vacant house at 137 East Corey Street. Bronson Deputy Fire Chief Ken Stutzman said the blaze started in an upstairs bedroom mattress. It took around 15 minutes to have the fire declared under control. No one had lived in the home for several years. Neighbors say they have seen kids go in and out of the house several times. Fire damages were estimated at one thousand dollars. No injuries were reported. The Bronson Police Department will be investigating.
