BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - A Bronson woman is being held on a quarter million dollars bond following her arraignment Wednesday in Branch County District Court on two counts of First Degree Child Abuse. 28-year old Christine Marie Wilson was taken into custody by Michigan State Police on Tuesday night.

Authorities say the victim is the suspect’s daughter who was approximately eight months of age when the investigation started in the fall of 2010. State Police were notified by the Department of Human Services after multiple injuries of the child were discovered at Mott’s Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. The girl was removed from the home by the Department of Human Services. Wilson is scheduled to return to District Court for a preliminary exam next Thursday.
