Undated (WKZO) - The report doesn’t say why dead doctors are still writing prescription for People on Medicaid, but we doubt it’s because they are zombies.

An audit has found that $89-thousand dollars for Medicaid reimbursement for prescriptions has been paid out in the last year to pharmacies who have received prescriptions written by doctors that were dead.   

The report doesn’t mention fraud but that may be the obvious explanation why prescriptions written by 82-different dead doctors appeared in hundreds of pharmacies all over the state.
