COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Michigan State Police say there was reckless gunfire last night in Branch County’s Union Township. Troopers conducted a neighborhood canvass where they were dispatched in the area of Creamery Road and located one home believed to have been struck by a bullet. They say they also quickly identified a suspect who remains under investigation.
The subject faces possible charges including possessing a firearm while intoxicated, reckless discharge and possession of an unregistered handgun. No injuries were reported. Troopers, who took the call around 9:40 last night, were assisted by the Union City Police Department.
