-Michigan State receiver Devin Thomas has signed a reserve/futures contract with the Lions. It means Thomas will be on Detroit’s roster for the start of O-T-A’s and training camp. He changed his mind about retirement after stepping away from the game last summer when he signed a one year deal with the Bears. The 26-year old Thomas was a second round pick out of M-S-U by the Redskins and played two seasons with them and also spent a year each with the Panthers and the Giants
