STURGIS, MI (WKZO) -- Sturgis Police are calling it a death with extenuating circumstances. 

An EMS crew responding to a call of a cardiac arrest felt compelled for some reason to call in police Saturday at about 10:20 a.m.  Arriving officers at the address in the 700 block of Myrtle St. were shown the dead body of a woman, the manner of her death was not readily apparent. An investigation file has been opened and the Medical Examiner has scheduled an autopsy for today to try and determine the cause of death.
