LANSING (WKZO) -- A new report from the non-partisan The Center For Michigan shows the public is not liking the direction of public schools in the state. Their survey found a majority of those polled give the overall statewide education system a grade of "C" or lower, with more than twice as many grading the system a "D" or "E" than an "A." Some of the top suggestions to improve education include shrinking class sizes and creating policies in Lansing to help get teachers better prepared before they begin their careers.
