BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - Authorities believe slippery roads were a factor in causing Thursday’s fatal crash that took the life a 49-year-old Bronson area woman. Barbara Musick was killed when her SUV was broadsided by a semi-truck hauling lumber in Branch County's Bethel Township.
Michigan State Police at the Coldwater Post say the car driven by Musick was eastbound on Cranson Road when it appears she slid at the corner t-intersection stop sign and into Block Road where the vehicle was struck by the southbound semi. Musick was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was not injured. The crash happened around 7:30 am Thursday.
