LANSING (WKZO0 -- Governor Rick Snyder is asking the Michigan Supreme Court to review possible issues in the new right-to-work law which could delay the measure from going into effect.
The Michigan Civil Service Commission has questioned if state workers will be subject to the law, and several labor unions have said they plan to fight the bill and could challenge whether it is constitutional. In a letter to the court, Snyder said he would appreciate a prompt review which will provide direction to him, the MCSC, the Legislature, employers, unions and state residents.
