The American Beauty star caught all the action courtside at the Grand Slam men's final in Melbourne as Djokovic came from behind to defeat Murray 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2 and land his first major win of 2013 - his third consecutive Australian Open title.

Spacey headed backstage after the big game to congratulate the Serbian and commiserate with Murray and he shared a number of photos of his sporting encounters on his Twitter.com page.

Alongside one shot with the runner-up, Spacey writes, ""w (with) @Andy_Murray after Men's Final. His day in Australia will come. Brilliant player who will win many titles. v (very) nice guy too.""
