BROOKLYN (WTVB) - The Michigan Department of Community Health has identified the bug that made runners sick after the Tough Mudder race at M.I.S. last weekend as a Norovirus, and a particularly nasty one that is quite contagious. MDCH spokesperson Angela Minicuci says they have about 200 reported cases. The source could have been contaminants in the pools of water or even another runner. She says they are telling victims to stay at home two to three days past their symptoms, just to make sure they don’t spread it.
