COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - You could get whiplash trying to follow gas prices in Michigan. In the last few months, gas prices have gone from a record high to below the national average and this morning you find them back up to near $4 for self-serve regular. Prices in the Coldwater took their latest spike during the noon hour Monday.
Gas Buddy.com's Patrick DeHaan is still blaming Egypt and a crude oil shortage, but he says this too will pass. He says hurricane season is just ahead so this rollercoaster ride may not be over.
