NASCAR is suspending the use of aerial cameras that hang over race tracks. The move comes as the investigation continues into what caused a camera system to fail and fall onto the track and grandstand at Charlotte's Coca-Cola 600 in May. Ten fans suffered injuries and several cars were also damaged. ESPN had planned to use a similar camera system for this weekend's Brickyard 400 as well as another race next month. With seven races to go before the start of the Chase, Jimmie Johnson holds a 56-point Sprint Cup standings lead on Clint Bowyer with Carl Edwards 73 points behind Johnson.
