COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Five people were hurt late last night in a collision on Coldwater’s north side between a pickup truck and a car at the intersection of State Street and Marshall. Also, 2 people were injured around 2:30 am Friday morning when a pickup rolled over into the median on I-69 in Coldwater Township. In that crash in Coldwater, city police tell us the car was westbound on State when it ran the flashing red light and struck the southbound pickup on the driver’s side. The car driver from Coldwater was alone in his vehicle while the pickup was driven by a man from Fremont, Indiana with 3 other people in the truck. They were all taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.No names have yet been released.
The I-69 accident happened near the ten mile marker. Michigan State Police are investigating and no other information is available.
