COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The last day of classes for Coldwater High School’s seniors was yesterday, which included the annual Swingout walk through downtown Coldwater. Before that, Senior Convocation took place, featuring a visit from State Senator Bruce Caswell. He was there to deliver a state proclamation saluting Kylie Dudek, who holds all of the school’s individual gymnastics records while wrapping her high school athletic career with a state title on the uneven bars in March. The proclamation was signed by Caswell, State Representative Ken Kurtz, and Governor Rick Snyder.

Congratulations also go out to CHS’s 13 Senior Scholars from the Class of 2013, whose names were announced during Senior Convocation: Makayla Bendele, Alex Daoud, Jazzilyn Dubois, Kaylee Evers, Austin Gagnon, Cameron Leist, Janie Marso, Morgan Miller, Caitlyn Reynolds, Becca Schott, BreeAnn Spangler, Audrey Tappenden, and Nick Waterbury. A student’s grade-point average and ACT score are used to determine recipients of the school’s highest academic honor.
