COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - There were a couple of injury accidents Sunday in Branch County, one of them a pickup rollover crash and the other a motorcycle-deer collision. No life threatening injuries were reported.  The pickup rollover happened around 3:40 a.m. on Grass Lake Road near Beverly Drive in Ovid Township. The Sheriff’s Department said 22-year old Derek Vanevery of Coldwater was the driver and his passenger was Nathan Marshall, also 22, of Quincy. Deputies said alcohol is believed to have been a factor as Vanevery took the curve too fast. They were treated and released from the Community Health Center of Branch County.

That was also the case for a motorcyclist who struck a deer basically head on around 10 pm Sunday night on Ridge Road near Lost Forty Drive in Quincy Township. State Police handled the investigation.
