Ford is celebrating its 1,000th win in NASCAR national series competition after Greg Biffle took Sunday's Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Biffle drove the number-16 Ford to victory for Roush Fenway Racing. He held off a hard-charging Jimmie Johnson, who hit the wall with four laps to go, allowing Biffle to easily beat Kevin Harvick at the finish. It was Biffle's fourth career Sprint Cup win at MIS.
Harvick finished three seconds back in second, with Martin Truex Jr. third. Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart completed the top-five. Johnson wound up 28th.
