CHONGQING, CHINA (WKZO) -- Ford Motor Company says it is now doubling engine-production capacity in China with a new 500-million dollar factory as part of a joint venture with China Changan Ford Automobile. The automaker officially opened the new plant late last week, and officials say it cam produce 400-thousand engines a year. Before the plant opened, Changan Ford's engine production topped out at 350-thousand a year in China.
