LANSING, MI (WTVB) - It had the longest way to come back since the Great Recession so it probably makes sense that Michigan would lead the country when it comes to new manufacturing job creation. Either way, it’s welcome news for the Wolverine State. According to a report by the National Association of Manufacturers, Michigan posted a net gain of over 88,000 jobs between December 2009 and March of this year. And the state outpaced second place Texas by more than 30,000 new workers. Also, Michigan ranked fourth in the nation in 2012 for major new corporate facilities and expansions.
