LANSING (WKZO) -- Environmentalists are worried about proposed legislation that they say would put four million acres of state forest land at risk.  Among other things, the bill would prohibit the Department of Natural Resources from specifically designating land to achieve or maintain biodiversity.  The legislation is expected to come before the Senate for a full vote in the coming weeks.
