The Pistons played Sunday like they hoped the season would have ended yesterday as they were shut down by league leading Spurs 114-to-75 at the Palace. San Antonio was playing their first game without star point guard Tony Parker, who is expected to miss a month with a sprained ankle. Greg Monroe tallied 16 points in the loss. Detroit shot 33-percent from the field and turned it over 19 times on its way to a 23-and-39 record.
