Seventh-ranked Michigan rallied last night for an 80-to-75 win at Purdue with the victory keeping alive the Wolverines chances of sharing a Big Ten regular season title with Indiana. Sunday afternoon, Michigan will host Indiana at Crisler Center. Last night, Purdue led by a dozen in the second half before Trey Burke commanded the Wolverine’s comeback, scoring 22 of his team-high 26 points in the final 12 minutes of the game when Michigan also went 16-for-19 from the free throw line.
By avoiding the upset, Michigan improved to 25-and-5 overall and 12-and-5 in conference play. Tonight in the Big Ten, it’s number-10 Michigan State at home against 22nd ranked Wisconsin.
There were two top ten upsets last night with Villanova beating number-5 Georgetown 67-to-57 while Georgia Tech topped 6th-ranked Miami, Florida 71-to-69.
