The Pistons dropped their third in-a-row last night, losing 87-to-77 to the Knicks at the Palace even though New York had to play without their injured leading scorer Carmelo Anthony. Detroit was also missing big man Greg Monroe, who has a sore left ankle as well as head coach Lawrence Frank, who was absent because of an undisclosed personal matter. All five Pistons starters scored in double figures with Brandon Knight leading the way with 17 points. The defeat drops Detroit to 23-and-40.
Tonight the Pistons stay at home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder
