LANSING (WKZO) -- Legislators in Lansing are considering giving Detroit aid if an emergency financial manager is approved.  Republican legislators are reportedly warming up to the idea of giving aid to Governor Rick Snyder's impending EM.

Experts say it would take more than ten-million dollars to pay for some of the city's immediate needs.  That would be on top of funding already set aside under the new emergency manager law for the EM's salary and five-million dollars for consultants and law firms to assist in restructuring the city and school district.
