With NFL free agency set to start today, Lion’s NFC Central rival Minnesota has traded disgruntled wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks. According to numerous media outlets, including a Minneapolis paper, the teams have agreed to the deal in principle with draft picks likely headed back to Minnesota. Harvin played just nine games last season because of a severely sprained ankle.
And the Baltimore Ravens have reportedly traded wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens apparently will acquire a sixth-round pick in exchange for Boldin, who is said to have refused a salary cut to help the Super Bowl champs get under the salary cap.
