LANSING (WKZO) -- A new poll shows Congressman Mike Rogers at the top of the list of potential Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate next year with just over 31-percent support.
Right behind Rogers is Scott Romney, the son of former Michigan Governor George Romney and older brother of 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Scott Romney has since declined the opportunity to run for the seat.
The poll was conducted by Murray Communications, Combat Data and Portable Insights in the Lansing area. Michigan's senior U.S. Senator, Carl Levin, is not seeking reelection.
