KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) -Three southwest Michigan companies are throwing their support behind a major upcoming study to be conducted by the American Cancer Society. Stryker Instruments, Whirlpool Corporation, and Perrigo will be helping with what's being called "Cancer Prevention Study-3," or CPS-3 for short. They'll be helping in May to enroll study participants for the long-term study that's seeking volunteers between 30 and 65-years-old who have never been personally diagnosed with cancer. Informational meetings will be hosted by all three companies later this month.
Sign-ups for the CP-3 study will be held at the Branch County Relay for Life on June 21 at Heritage Park in Coldwater.
