CONVIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) - Icy roads may have contributed to a van roll over along I-69 north of Marshall in Calhoun County’s Convis Township. 9 Amish men and their female driver were headed from Northern Indiana to Lansing for a Milk producers meeting when the van hit an icy patch at the 44 mile marker and went off the divided highway yesterday morning.
It rolled, ejecting three of the passengers. The van ended up on its roof. Two were critically injured. The 8 others all suffered non-life threatening injuries and they were all rushed to area hospitals. The investigation is continuing and citations may be issued.
