Kyle Busch won Sunday's Auto Club 400 in Fontana, California in a very dramatic finish that featured rivals Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano crashing on the final lap while battling for the lead. Busch was running third when the collision happened and it allowed him to slip by and steal the win.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second, followed by Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle. Hamlin slammed hard into the inside retaining wall and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, but he was awake and alert following the incident. Logano ended up finishing sixth. After the race a fight between Tony Stewart and Logano occurred on pit road. Stewart was furious with Logano for blocking him during a late-race restart. Last week, Hamlin and Logano had an altercation on and off the track at Bristol Motor Speedway.
