LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan will officially become a right-to-work state this week. The new law takes effect Thursday, outlawing the requirement of union membership as a condition of employment. The state Bureau of Employment Relations hired an administrative law specialist recently to handle the implementation and oversight of the new law.
