The Tigers doubled up the Marlins 6-to-3 yesterday afternoon in Grapefruit League action in Jupiter, Florida. Rick Porcello had another strong showing in his bid to make Detroit’s rotation as the number-5 starter. He tossed 4-hit ball over six innings with 3 strikeouts while allowing 3 runs. Porcello also has not allowed a walk in 24 spring innings. Miguel Cabrera had two hits for the Tigers, including an RBI double and Jhonny Peralta added a 2-run homer. Detroit will host the Atlanta Braves this afternoon in Lakeland on Sunday, forcing the Monday finish
