PITTSFORD TOWNSHIP -(WTVB) – Three persons were injured Thursday night when a pair of vehicles collided at a Hillsdale County intersection.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Post in Jackson Post report the crash took place at about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Squawfield and Waldron Roads.
Two occupants of one vehicle were transported by ambulance to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson with serious but non-life threating injuries.
The single occupant of the second vehicle was transported via life-flight to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio with life threatening injuries and at last report was in critical condition.
A Michigan State Police accident reconstructionist assisted with the investigation. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Hudson Fire/Rescue, the Reading Emergency Unit and Wright Waldron EMS.
