PAW PAW, MI (WTVB) - Van Buren County deputies are going to let the prosecutor decide what charges to bring against a Paw Paw man who was arrested for drunk driving on a full sized farm tractor late Friday afternoon. The tractor was in both the north and south lanes of County Road 665 in Decatur Township and being driven erratically.
The driver had a suspended license because of two previous drunk driving arrests. He was asked to step down from the tractor for some sobriety tests but refused. Deputies say they could detect the strong odor of alcohol and so they arrested him.
