Denny Hamlin easily broke the track qualifying record at Charlotte Motor Speedway last night to earn the pole for Sunday's Coca Cola 600. Kurt Busch claimed the outside pole. Matt Kenseth, who leads the Sprint Cup series with 3 wins this season, qualified third followed by Mark Martin. Jimmie Johnson, who won the All-Star race for a record fourth time last Saturday at Charlotte, will start 12th, one spot behind his teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. Danica Patrick qualified 24th. Live coverage of the Coca Cola 600 on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 will start right after our Sunday broadcast beginning at Noon of the Indianapolis 500.
