National Weather Service now says 6 tornadoes hit Michigan Tuesday night

FLINT, MI (WTVB) -The same storm cell that stayed just to the north of Branch County and initially touched off tornado warnings in Calhoun and Barry Counties late Tuesday night is now blamed for 6 tornadoes in  Shiawasee and Genesee Counties. National Weather Service meteorlogist Dave Gurney says they ranged in strength from an EF-Zero to a pair of EF-2 twisters that hit the Flint area, ripping apart a county road maintenance barn, damaging several homes and businesses.

One of the twisters left a mile long path of destruction. Fortunately, it appears most everyone in the path of the tornadoes heeded warnings and there were no deaths or injuries.
