AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- Chrysler Group LLC is reporting an October sales increase of eleven-percent marking the 43rd consecutive month of year over year gains.
The company says despite the government shutdown sold over 140-thousand cars, trucks and SUV's. RAM pickup truck sales jumped by 18-percent while sales of the Dodge Durango soared by 59-percent for the newly updated full sized SUV.
The automaker says overall sales gains were posted by the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM divisions. Fiat posted a one-percent sales increase.
