NASHVILLE, TN (WTVB) - Week 11 of the NFL schedule kicks off tonight with an AFC South showdown in Nashville between the division-leading Indianapolis Colts and the second place Tennessee Titans. The Colts are coming off a surprising 38-8 home loss to St. Louis. The Titans, who sit two games back in the division, have lost four of their last five games.
Meanwhile, the quarterback the Lions will face this weekend isn’t hiding his fear of Detroit’s defensive tackle tandem of Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. Steeler’s signal caller Ben Roethlisberger told a conference call Wednesday with Detroit reporters that in facing the Lion’s D-line, “You’ve got to be careful. You’ll end up dead if you’re not careful.” Suh and Fairley combined for 2 sacks and 8 quarterback hits last week in Chicago in the win over the Bears. NFC North leading Detroit is a 2-point favorite to grab its seventh win in 10 games Sunday at Pittsburgh, which has a 3-and-6 record.
