DEARBORN (WKZO) -- U.S. September sales for Ford Motor Company rose by six-percent over the same month last year, marking the automaker's best September since 2006.
"We're particularly encouraged by the strength of the Fusion and Fiesta, especially in coastal markets," says Ford vice president Ken Czubay. "The F-Series also keeps delivering, with our fifth-straight month surpassing the 60-thousand vehicle mark and continuing as America's best-selling vehicle."
September Fusion sales were up by 62-percent with Fiesta sales rising by 29-percent. September was Ford's 11th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases.
